Westgate
The 1,000-acre Westgate Project is located in the City of Fontana. It is strategically situated on the east side of the I-15 freeway at the interchange of the I-15 and 210 freeways. FORMA was instrumental in getting the approval of the Planning Commission and City Council after initial substantial community opposition. Working with an ad hoc committee comprised of community representatives, planning commissioner, City Councilman, Staff, and the landowner, a consensus was reached enabling the plan to be approved. The project will be a major Gateway to the City of Fontana with residential units ranging from 10,000 square foot lots to high-density multi-family up to 50 units to the acre. This project consists of an array of parks and recreational activities along with employment opportunities of a corporate business park, medical center, educational campus and supporting commercial and visitor-serving uses.
