Altura at the Groves is a multigenerational apartment community in Whittier, California developed by PLC Communities. Its proximity to historic Uptown Whittier is reflected in the contemporary-Spanish architecture, creating an ambience that is modern yet reflective of California history. A generous sampling of amenities is designed to encourage outdoor living and a sense of community. FORMA provided the landscape design for the entire community including the contemporary linear fireplace and barbeque area. Additional amenities offered by the community are the resort-like pool and spa and one of Altura’s most memorable amenities within the community which is “The Barking Lot”, a dog park which comfortably services the four-legged residents.
