Public Parks

FORMA has collaborated consistently with numerous cities on their Public Park facilities. Most notably, FORMA has designed many Public Parks collaborating with Developers/Builders and City Representatives predominantly within the City of Huntington Beach, the City of Calimesa, the City of Irvine, the City of Tracy, the City of Costa Mesa, the City of Temecula, the City of Orcutt, and the City of Diamond Bar on their Public Parks either stand-alone or in conjunction with new housing development open space requirements.  The neighborhood parks feature age-separated tot lots, multi-use hard courts and basketball courts, shade structures and picnic areas, open turf practice field areas that serve as sports fields and some as retention basins. The larger sports parks include all of the aforementioned items in conjunction with baseball league facilities, soccer fields, concession stands and restroom facilities, and parking facilities. Within the City of Huntington Beach, the inclusion of Public Art is a requirement on all new community developments. In some instances the Public Art has been placed to offer a shared viewing experience between the Community and the Public Park. FORMA has collaborated with a myriad of Art Coordinators and Public Artists over the past 23 years.
