Coto de Caza
Principals of FORMA were involved with the original Coto de Caza Specific Plan and its approval. Two major ridges with a picturesque valley below uniquely define the site. The project preserved the streambed and habitat within two championship golf courses with a variety of densities of residential neighborhoods. The major ridges are preserved in open space with very low-density estate homes dispersed in the lower foothills. FORMA continued with the planning of the Coto de Caza with Specific Plan Amendments to the original Specific Plan. The Urban Land Institute recognized Coto de Caza with an award of excellence for large-scale residential development to Lennar with FORMA recognized as the Community Planner.
