Brightwater, Huntington Beach

Brightwater, previously known as Bolsa Chica, comprises over 1,500 acres in the unincorporated coastal zone of northwestern Orange County. Over the past century and prior to development and restoration, dams, dikes, oil and gas production, agriculture, flood control and road construction have significantly altered Bolsa Chica. Today Brightwater is a balance of restored wetlands and habitat with the development of coastal homes. FORMA’s involvement includes the master plan and entitlement of the approved development, design and implementation of the landscape concept, features, and park. FORMA is continuing work on the site as the landscape consultant for the Brightwater HOA. .
